The 11 defendants (ten “physicists” and a construction company) were acquitted in the process for an alleged corruption of almost 230 thousand euros, aimed at the release in favor of “Meridiana srl” of a variant on the regulatory plan which allowed to expand a complex to allocate to “hotel tourist residences” in the course of the South. The 10 defendants are accused in various capacities of corruption, forgery, abuse of official documents, money laundering and aiding and abetting: the PM asked for 10 sentences with sentences from 5 months to 3 years; and a penalty of 77 thousand euros for the company, defended by Avv. Vaira.
The lawyer. Michele Vaira, lawyer of the company “Meridiana srl”, points out “that the company has always had confidence in the outcome of the process: each operation carried out was entrusted to professionals of high thickness and everything took place in the light of the sun”.
