The First Criminal College of the Court of Foggia acquitted Marco Lombardi of the accusation of having favored the hiding of Franco Li Bergolis. All other defendants sentenced.
The Lawyer. Michele Vaira, defender of Lombardi, told the Gazzetta: «I am really pleased with the positive conclusion of Lombardi’s dramatic judicial experience. Evidently, the Court has decided, in accordance with what I have asked, to overcome the suggestions offered by the PM and dwell on the concrete facts and legal provisions. Absolution was a necessary consequence of this process ».
